Conrod Photography is a Halifax / Dartmouth, Nova Scotia based studio that specializes in promoting businesses, artists and individuals, thru photography, video, and audio mediums.
I, like many others, I grew up fascinated with photography and started freelancing in 1991. I officially established Conrod Photography in 1998 along with my wife, Pam.
As a full-time photographer, I take this art form seriously, taking time every year to participate in upgrading courses, ensuring I stay on top of current trends and techniques. I enjoy the whole spectrum of the photography experience, be it working for large corporations, small businesses or individual clients.
In recent years, we have been satisfying commercial customers by providing images along with videos for their advertising needs. These clients use these for before and after presentations or to commemorate business ventures and accomplishments. We have made it our mission to understand the clients’ needs and use our experience and creative talent to meet or exceed their expectations.
Providing business, casual or graduation portraits in our Halifax studio and on-location has been another rewarding and satisfying part of our business. I make the effort to bring out each person’s individuality to make unique images that bring out the beauty of each person. It is important to me to meticulously contemplate the lighting, surroundings and other elements of each photograph to best flatter each subject.
